ScanSnap S500 が登場したとき Mac OS X 対応でなかったのでついに Mac は見捨てられたかと残念に思っていたのだけど、いつのまにか S500 対応の Mac 用ドライバがダウンロードできるようになっています。これは嬉しいかも。
なお、現在はまだ PowerPC 版のみ。「IntelベースのMacintoshコンピュータシステム対応のユニバーサルバイナリードライバの提供開始時期に関しては後日ご案内いたします」とのこと。
